Dr. Judy Johnson is a graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School and a resident of Flossmoor. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Illinois, College of Dentistry. Since graduation, Dr. Johnson has maintained a private practice. Additionally, Dr. Johnson was a faculty member at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry for 23 years in the department responsible for teaching crowns, veneers, implant restorations, dentures and fillings. As a faculty member, she was highly recognized for her research and publications in dental education and served as a consultant to other dental schools.
Because dentistry is constantly changing, Dr. Johnson feels her own continuing education is key to excellence in the dental field. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. Also, she is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, an organization dedicated to high levels of continuing education for its members.
