Dr. Tartaglia grew up in Rockford, attended Boylan High School, and currently lives in poplar Grove with his wife, Jill and his two daughters.
Dr. Tartaglia graduated with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a D.D.S. from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. he also is a graduate of the Misch Institute for advanced Implant Dentistry. He has attended numerous courses through the Las Vegas Institute of cosmetic dentistry and facial trauma conferences through Loyola Maywood and the University of Iowa. He has surgical privileges and is on staff at both OSF St. Anthony medical center and RHS Rockford Memorial Hospital. This allows him to work in conjunction with the trauma, plastics and ENT surgeons at these level 1 facilities. Dr. Tartaglia currently practices full-scope dentistry including crown and bridge, oral surgery, and endodontics.
Prior to entering dental school, he flew corporate jets in Omaha. Outside of his practice, Dr. Tartaglia enjoys golfing and playing guitar in a rock band. This is his tenth season as one of the team dentists for the Rockford Ice Hogs Hockey Team.
